The Spiral is a consulting-coaching hybrid; helping you get into right relationship with social change work within your business and personal life.

Together we will create a personalized strategic plan to integrate and sustainably embody social change work in your external and internal structures.

There’s no going back to “normal”.

This nameless movement we’re experiencing is not temporary. It’s the story of our lives, and the headlines will keep coming. But this isn’t something we can be on the sidelines for— We’re all being called to politicize, to take a stand for something bigger than ourselves.

The people who are making the biggest impact can navigate the hardest conversations with grace and knowledge.
They can stand in and share their truth, without burnout- while being open to other perspectives.

They aren’t just parroting what they’re told is the “right” thing to say.

Their actions emanate from their deepest values, commitments, and awareness.

The people who can balance the “both, and”.
Enter: The Spiral.

The 4 Pillars of The Spiral

1 . Education

A personalized education plan, connecting you with expertise and knowledge in the fields of the subjects you’d like to dive deeper into— race, class, gender, environment, sexuality, etc.

II . Your Unique Role

Processing your own dynamics of privilege and oppression. Identifying where you are on a continuum of social alliance, from regurgitation and fear to embodiment and empowered boundaries.

III . Actionable Commitments

Getting clear on your areas of contribution, (content, partnerships, promotional, philanthropic.) We’ll create a strategic practice for integrating meaningful and systemic change in your business.

IV . Navigating Conflict

Holding yourself and responding graciously, with humility, for the inevitable moments where others misunderstand your intent.

Education

It all begins with knowledge.

No one person can be an expert in every intersecting field of social justice. What I am is a bridge, a support system that facilitates your movement from where you are to where you want to be.

Here’s what this looks like: I will help you design an educational plan based on what you need to brush up on, and how you learn best. I will be a source of support for processing the knowledge you gain, the intense emotions that may come up, and determining how to move forward to apply the information in practical ways.

**Don’t worry, this isn’t a college course load. It’s about quality over quantity, a deep introduction to a few key subjects, so you can fully integrate what you’re learning into your life, instead of overloading yourself with information.**

Topics (you will pick three):

Gender, Race & Ethnic Studies, Class & Money, Sexuality, Decolonization, Culture and Social Movements, Politics & Social Institutions, Environment & Nature

Tools:

Workshops, Podcasts, Books, Courses, Short Form Video, Audiobooks, Documentaries

Your Unique Role

You’re a high-achieving leader, and it’s time to translate that into high impact. But first, this means getting clear on you, and processing your personal history, identity, and context.

In order to get into right relationship with your identity, we’ll be delving into personal decolonization work. This pillar is about moving through shame, guilt, and shadow, in order to move towards empowered embodiment of your whole self.

This also involves refining your allyship, identifying where you are on a continuum from regurgitation and performativity to embodiment and autonomy.

We’ll be unpacking your individual history, examining intersections of privilege and marginalization, in order to understand how they manifest personally, in relationship, and in society.

Actionable Commitments

Let’s get clear on where and how you want to contribute.

We’ll be discovering what issues are at the forefront of your passion, interest, and excitement. We’ll be identifying where you can contribute your time, energy, and resources to make maximum impact towards what you care about the most.

This also involves committing to integrating what you've been learning into your business, creating meaningful and systemic change in its internal structure, products, and marketing.

You will have the guidance and support you need to create original, meaningful content that comes from your heart— not what you think other people want to hear.

Navigating Conflict

As we collectively move towards a society of transformative justice and accountability, some of these growing pains include a culture that is quick to condemn and cancel.

This pillar is focused on how to navigate the inevitable moments where others are rubbed the wrong way / you’re taken contrary to your intent.

We will delve into what it means to hold yourself graciously and with humility in the face of conflict. The intention is to get into the powerful practice of balancing of your truth and your mistakes, with others’ valid critiques and projections.

When we model compassionate boundaries, stand flexibly and open in our truths, and take radical responsibility for our actions, we heal ourselves— healing the world.
